A couple of years ago, we published a report looking at the challenges facing consulting firms when it comes to their pricing strategies. In light of the upheaval caused by the pandemic, we’re revisiting this topic. Client demand for specialist skillsets has increased, driving up fee rates in some areas; delivery mechanisms are changing as a result of the pandemic, raising questions about how location impacts price; and outcome-based pricing hasn’t taken off in the way some (including us) expected. So, what does this mean for consulting firms and how they price their services and products?
