The Brazil Consulting Market in 2017

Published Oct 2017

2016 was another difficult year for the consulting market in Brazil, which grew by only 0.1% to reach a value of US$1,189m. It was a year of two halves, with the first half of the year dominated by the political and economic crisis that had dogged 2015. Things improved towards the end of the year, with the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff providing an inflection point. Beneath the flat market lay performances by individual firms that varied quite widely, but even so, few are likely to look back on 2016 with particularly fond memories.

This report contains market size and growth data as well as regional data on industry, and service line market sizes, growth figures, and forecasts for major client industries, consulting service lines, and firm types. And we discuss the most important trends that Brazilian consulting leaders need to be aware of as they attempt to grow their own businesses in 2017.
