Anthony Marshall is Senior Research Director of Business Thought Leadership at the IBM Institute for Business Value (IBV), leading the company’s top-rated thought leadership program. Anthony leads a global team of 60 technology and industry experts, statisticians, economists and analysts.  
 
In addition to providing direction to as many as one hundred thought leadership studies annually across all major technologies, industries and C-suite functions, Anthony leads a global network of regional IBVs in China, India, Japan, Asia Pacific, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. 
 
Anthony continues to write original thought leadership in innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud, and diversity. 
 
Prior to joining the IBV, Anthony spent more than 10 years in strategy consulting, working extensively with leading global banks and insurers. Anthony began his career in public policy, working on microeconomic reform, deregulation and privatization of major utility industries and infrastructure.
